Ada María Isasi-Díaz, the late professor emerita of ethics and theology at Drew University, birthed a new branch of liberation theology rooted in her experiences as a Cuban-American woman -- and gave a term mujerista to that identity and voice. Mujeristas are Latina women living in the USA who are aware of how sexism, ethnic prejudice and economic oppression limits their wholeness of life. In a life shaped by struggle, mujeristas describe how they have learned to live lives shaped by solidarity, empowerment, faith, liturgy, and ritual. Reverend Zinke preaching.
